- High-quality CPR, AED use, ventilations, choking response, and team communication remain central to BLS practice.
- For opioid-related respiratory arrest, hands-only CPR is not always enough. Training reinforces EMS activation, naloxone access when available, and CPR with breaths when breathing is absent or abnormal.
- Hands-on practice helps students learn, see, practice, prove, do, and maintain the skills they may need before help arrives.
