How to Download Your HeartCode® BLS Online Completion Certificate

You must complete the survey on the American Heart Association eLearning website before you can download your HeartCode BLS Online completion certificate.

Still in the course? Start here

If you have just completed HeartCode BLS Online and are still on the course screen, stay there and follow these steps.

1. Select “Exit Exercise”

Once the HeartCode BLS Online course is complete, select Exit Exercise at the top-right of the page.

2. Complete the survey

You will return to the HeartCode BLS course page. Select either Provide Survey button. Both lead to the required survey.

3. Download the completion certificate

After submitting the survey, select Download Completion Certificate.

If you need continuing education credit, you may also select Claim CE Certificate. The CE certificate is optional and is not required for your BLS skills session.

Already left the course? Start here

If you completed HeartCode BLS Online earlier and need to return to AHA eLearning to get the certificate, follow these steps.

1. Sign in to the AHA eLearning website

Go to elearning.heart.org and select Sign In in the upper-right corner.

2. Open HeartCode BLS and complete the survey

After signing in, go to My Courses. Find HeartCode® BLS Online and select Survey.

3. Download your completion certificate

After you submit the survey, select Download Completion Certificate.

If you need continuing education credit, you can also select Claim CE Certificate. The CE certificate is optional and is not required for your BLS skills session.

What certificate should I bring to my BLS skills check?

Bring or provide the HeartCode® BLS Online Completion Certificate. The CE certificate is different and is not required for the hands-on skills check.
